We Are The Tour Company
the Tour Company is one of the U.K.’s leading independent entertainment business travel agencies. Our head office is in Glasgow, with agents also operating out of Aberdeen & Bournemouth.
The Tour Company’s managing director, Tina Waters (an American) moved to the U.K in 1989. She initially worked with Travel by Appointment, before opening the Glasgow office of Trinifold Travel in 1993. In July 1999 she completed a management buy out of Trinifold Travel’s Glasgow’s office and the TOUR COMPANY was born.
Tina’s background is in the entertainment and touring industry. She has previously worked for booking agencies, promoters, production & service companies, and as an assistant tour manager, before moving into travel.
As the name ‘the Tour Company’ would suggest, the company handles a great deal of live touring and event business. However the company also handles the ‘day to day’ needs of other entertainment related businesses like management companies, booking agencies, promoters, record labels, pr companies, publishers, tv & film producers etc.
The Tour Company prides itself on the quality of service and the attention that is given to all our clients no matter what the level of business. The company has employed the same ‘core’ staff for several years meaning that we are all familiar with each other’s clients and are able to help if “instant gratification” is needed and your agent isn’t available.
